To this end, we designed a compulsory induction course for all our Care Assistants and Support workers to cover core principles of care, moving and handling, health and safety awareness, personal centred care, first aid awareness, fire awareness, Dementia care, infection prevention and control, and lastly mental health awareness before they are put on shift.
